A major aspect of improving the delivery of health care to the Medicaid population is a greater emphasis on the concept of “medical homes.”

With financial support from The Commonwealth Fund, the National Academy for State Health Policy has prepared a report on how eight states are attempting to make greater use of medical homes in the delivery of care to their Medicaid population.  A summary of the study and a link to the full report can be found here, on The Commonwealth Fund’s web site.
