Federal Cuts to Hurt Pennsylvania Hospitals

Changes in federal Medicare and Medicaid policy will hurt Pennsylvania hospitals in the coming years, according to a recent article in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

The state’s hospitals already anticipate the loss of $8.5 billion in Medicare and Medicaid revenue in the next ten years, with more cuts possible depending on the outcome of current deficit reduction negotiations.  Learn more here.
